Professional Learning

We are strongly committed to providing high quality professional learning opportunities for our staff.  We run a series of Trust wide networks that share and disseminate best practice, these include:

Secondary subject networks

Reading, writing and maths networks in primary schools

Networks for our TAs, DSLs, Headteachers, and subject leaders

The core aim of all of these networks is to share and disseminate best practice in order to deliver the highest quality education for our young people.  Our support staff can access relevant professional training too which is held both in house and through national providers for example the national College.  The Sapientia Academy of Learning coordinates all our Trust wide professional learning opportunities.  This is supplemented by two annual Trust wide training days where all 1100 of our staff are invited to work together around common learning themes.
